Ingredients

11⁄2 lbs skirt steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

11⁄2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Juice of 1 lime

12 yellow corn tortillas

1/2 white onion, finely diced

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions
1. Pat steak dry.
2. Rub with olive oil.
3. Season evenly.
4. Add lime juice and rest 10–15 minutes.
5. Heat skillet over high heat.
6. Cook steak 3–4 minutes per side.
7. Rest steak 5 minutes.
8. Slice against the grain.
9. Warm tortillas.
10. Assemble tacos.
11. Top with onion and cilantro.
12. Serve immediately.
